We are about half way from Atlanta to the Grand Canyon. Tonight we're just west of Ft. Worth, Texas. We've been spending a lot of quality time with the Weather Channel and have done a good job avoiding all of the bad weather that has affected the south and mid-west.

We had to post an update today to show you what we had at dinner. It doesn't look like much in the picture, but we had fried dill pickles. They were dipped in a spicy batter and deep fried. They were served with a tangy/creamy dipping sauce. One of the most interesting foods we've had on the whole trip. Like a lot of things we've shown you, they tasted much better than they look...
